In Nepal alone, 6,000,000 people do not have access to clean drinking water. In the southern Terai region, more than 1,400,000 people are affected by Arsenic contamination in ground water sources. People are drinking slow poison, but Project Naqua can help.
We are currently seeking funds for this social enterprise to install water filters and educate the students and their families on the importance of drinking clean water. We are looking to install water filters in 18 schools, at a cost of $2,500 per school. This amounts to a total of $45,000.
